[Probably in real galleries but in Ramona's mind it works in a nonsensical clusterfuck. EITHER WAY once you get close enough to the statue the lights slowly turn on and get brighter once you're within viewing space.

It's a large sprawling limestone sculpting. The bottom has been cut inelegantly from the quarry and then smoothed out into a stool and on top of it is a very realistic sculpture of college age Roxie. She's working on a project, the final grade for her junior year. The detail is hyper realistic, from the folds on her sweater to the way the cloudy veins of the dark grey limestone seem to stand in for her painting smudges. The most detailed part by far is, of course, Roxie's expression. It's the one she has when she is absolutely committed to her work and nothing can distract her. She's peering intently at the artistic work in front of her with her back to the large empty space.

The other half of the sculpture foundation is absent, a pillar crudely carved into the bottom with the broken remains of a sneaker--Ramona's--and a chisel all that's left in that place. On the far side of the sculpture you can see footprints carved into the side and in the floor of the studio, out to a door marked "Exit" that randomly appears.

In a tiny little bronze placard there's the name of the work. "Not Everything Can Be Set in Stone."]
