You think I could get a sketch of this place later? Not the dog costume one but just...one in general. As a reminder that this hasn't been a weird fever dream, or if it is, you shared it with me?

But this time I mean it, because since college I've kinda become a pro at this. Usually you do take a lot of shots either way, but I'm definitely way better at getting the subject to relax and picking the right moment...

Where'd the family portrait experience come from?

Well, in senior year I basically paid my tuition by doing headshots for the drama department. Plus when I started working after college sometimes I had to take photos for reference stuff too.

[good composition-wise, but subject-wise it's an embarrassing photo since Ramona is looking at Roxanne like she wants to kiss her, but maybe it's not that obvious...]

Yeah, but I doubt you had to coax a bowl of fruit into being photogenic.

[it's a little obvious but Roxanne is a lot more subtle about having the same want so she's not going to comment on it]

Hey, it was people too. And animals, which was even harder.

But true. I pulled enough set design shifts to know. And it wasn't because they were doing a mashup of "Our Town" and "Planet of the Apes"...

They were good practice and that's all I'm saying about that.

I also had a lot of headshot practice, but not with a camera.

You should take more pictures with you and, like, those rabbits. Get your cute pet fix while you can.
